  1. Keep track of what and how much you eat for one day.
  2. Follow the directions at The Nutrition Analysis Tool Version 2.0 (http://nat.crgq.com/mainnat.html) developed by the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, UIUC to analyze your diet for at least:

  3. Prepare a printout of your diet analysis to bring to class.
  4. Use the calorie information from your diet analysis to complete the "Energy Efficiency" worksheet:
  5. If you are deficient in one or more of the categories in your analysis, suggest foods that will supplement your diet.
  6. If you can not access a computer you may be able to find enough information on the nutrition labels on packaged foods you eat.
  7. Use your diet analysis printout to determine if your protein intake was sufficient.
  8. Was your fat intake excessive?
