One result, and product, of the NSF award on "Functional Genomics of Plant Stress Tolerance" (98-13360/ 02-23905) are mutant lines of Arabidopsis. The lines are T-DNA tagged and show different root bending when exposed to high salinity, or show altered expression of a RD29A-luciferase reporter gene when exposed to stress. Tail-PCR insertions are included and the insertion site is given. Lines are available from Jian-Kang Zhu, University of Arizona, or Ray Bressan, Purdue University. The lines will be available from seed repositories. |
