especially those of sharks, bony fishes, ancient amphibians, reptiles, and
birds. Mechanical modeling of vertebrate teeth.
Evolutionary processes as they affect major adaptations, macroevolution,
developmental/genetic foundations of large evolutionary changes ("evo-devo");
quantitative models of evolution and development, and of novel adaptations
in populations. |
Work:
Papers and one book in areas of
evolutionary biology, biomechanics, and functional morphology.
