Hughes Undergraduate Research Fellows Program

Program Statement

The Hughes Undergraduate Research Fellows (HURF) program, funded by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, offers students in the biological sciences and chemistry the opportunity to conduct research under the guidance of research faculty on campus. Additional funds from campus partners (The College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (ACES), The Campus Honors Program, and The Environmental Council) enhance the program and increase the diversity of the participants.
