You may earn up to 6% extra credit for the semester in this course. These percentage points will be added directly on to your course grade at the end of the semester, after the grade distributions have been determined. In past years, many students have been able to raise their course grade by one letter grade because of extra credit.
Each extra credit project is worth 2%. You can repeat a given extra credit project (for example, attend more than one seminar during the semester). All extra credit projects require additional library research and a written report. Follow the GUIDELINES links below for specific information on preparing your extra credit project. Please note that all summary reports for extra credit projects are due in Beth's office (426 NHB) no more than two weeks after the lecture or activity, unless otherwise specified.
