First and foremost, I thank the current students in the IB Honors program for their interest in the program, their willingness to share their ideas and thoughts with me, and their passion for biology.
Second, thanks to Merla Hübler for taking the time to identify four of the new species highlighted in this year's rogues gallery, and Carol Augspurger for suggesting the semelparous plants - as she calls them, the salmon of the plant kingdom.
Third, I thank Lee Bynum of Life Sciences ONIT and Alison at Birdhive Development & Design for telling me how little they thought of frames, despite the cool look of last year's sites, and encouraging me to learn about javascript and css.
And finally, I acknowledge Stu Nicholls for his excellent example pages highlighting tricks for cascading style sheets, Eric Bosrup for the overlib popup scripts, and the w3schools for their html, javascript and css tutorial resources.
Thanks to all,
John Cheeseman
