I received my PhD in plant ecophysiology from the University of York (UK) in 2005; my research focused on the mechanistic changes underpinning plant respiratory acclimation to the cold.  Following this I was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Australian National University, where I investigated the response of cytochrome and alternative pathway respiration to temperature change.  I am currently a post-doc at the University of York, where I am investigating the oxygen response of respiration. I am visiting IGB to use Andrew’s differential oxygen analyzer to construct O2 response curves of respiration.
