  2. Attendance

    Students are required to attend all classes. Each student is given 100 points for attendance. Students are allowed one unexcused absence. Five points will be subtracted from the 100 points with each additional unexcused absence.

  3. Examinations (400 points)

    A. Examination I Wednesday, September 17 80 points
    B. Examination II Friday, October 10 90 points
    C. Examination III Friday, November 7 110 points
    D. Examination IV Thursday, December 18 120 points

  4. Grading

    The final grade is based on the total points accumulated of the total possible 500 points. The following is an approximation of the anticipated grading distribution:

    A = 90 to 100% = 450-500 total points
    B = 80 to 89% = 400-449 total points
    C = 70 to 79% = 350-399 total points
    D = 60 to 69% = 300-349 total points
    F = less than 300 total points

    The plus/minus system will be used.
