EXAMINATIONS:
-
There will be three exams (50 minutes each) with each exam being preceded by
a 50-minute review session.

Makeup exams will be given in case of illness or
other emergency. A letter from the McKinley Health Center or the Emergency Dean
will be required.

Final exam: there will NOT be a comprehensive final
exam.

NOTE: Attendance of lectures is required,
and announcements made in class are considered official. If there is a conflict with
the scheduled exam hour, the student must inform Dr. Grosman at least 14 days prior
to the exam date.

FINAL GRADE: Each of the three exams will be
assigned a numerical grade. Consideration of the three marks will result
in a final letter grade. The class median will be the border between B and
C (thus, approximately half the class will have grades greater or equal to
B). Grades of A or D will be given to students with scores about one standard
deviation above or below the class median, respectively.
