grading policy

Grading will use the usual scale, with + and ¿ grades (A⁺, A, A^-, B⁺,.... etc)

Classroom attendence

Class attendence will be recorded at random times

Attendance, participation in help sessions, etc., will be of importance in assessment of borderline grades

10-12 Problem Sets (Total: 25%)

Problem set answers due on Thursdays (in class).

NO LATE homeworks without valid excuse; otherwise ZERO credit.

2 points (max) for each homework

2 In-class Exams (25% each)

Thursday, October 16 (10:00 -11:50 am)

Thursday, November 20 (10:00 - 11:50 am)

1 Final Exam (25%)

Thursday, December 17 (8:00 - 11:00 am)

Graduate and Undergraduate students will be graded separately, each using a curve.
