H20 fluxes

H20 fluxes were also established at the Lake Naivasha site using eddy covariance and corresponding model estimates of H20 fluxes from canopy and open were produced. Measured and predicted H20 fluxes were closely comparable with an integrated flux of 2365 g H2O m-2 day-1 for measured  and 2479 g H2O m-2 day-1 for predicted respectively. The predicted evaporative loss from open water was 6580 g H2O m-2 day-1 which was nearly 3 times that from the canopy.
