Testing and Validation

WIMOVAC has been extensively tested and validated against experimental data for both C3 and C4 species at the level of leaf and canopy photosynthesis (Jones, M.B., 1987,1988; Jones, M.B. and Muthuri, F.M., 1984,1985). Comparisons of measured and modelled rates of photosynthesis and stomatal conductance have demonstrated the robustness and predictive value of the WIMOVAC modelling system
