Courses

The Master of Science program in Biology can be tailored to an individual's needs and specification, and course selection will vary based upon a student's academic background and degree objectives.

Some of our mentors have suggested the following courses if your are interested in:

  • Developmental biology: MCB 400, 410, and 450

  • Ecology: IB 405, 416, 443, 446, 449, 451, 452, 453, 461, 493, and 592; CPSCI 440 and 540

  • Physiology/neuroscience: MCB 402, 412, 415, and 416

  • Plant molecular biology/plant genetic engineering/biotechnology: IB 407, 420 and 424; MCB 400, 450, 452, and 553
