Week 1 announcements

Attention James Scholars: Are you interested in taking MCB 251 for
James Scholar credit? There are several seats open in the Honors
sections of MCB 251 that meets on Thursdays, from 1 to 4:50. You must
also enroll in MCB 298, section C1, which meets Mondays, 4-4:50 PM or
section B1, which meets 12-12:50 (B1 has only one seat available).
Please contact Dr. Shawna Naidu (shawna@illinois.edu) as soon as
possible for approval to register.

Reminder that there will be no lab or discussion the week of September 1-5

Please remember to bring your I-cards to your lab sections to check out equipment. Both students in each group are required to have their I-card.

MCB 251 students are required to bring their own sharpie to lab class.

The MCB 251 proficiency exam will be held on Thursday September 4th from 7-10 PM if you are interested in taking the proficiency exam please sign up in 252 Davenport Hall

Labs start the week of Monday, August 25 in 243 A-C Davenport Hall. Please come to lab prepared. You will need a lab notebook and lab manual which can be purchased at the Illini Union Bookstore.
In addition you should come to lab having read over Exercise 1. Your TA will provide you with any additional requirements for lab preparation on your first day of lab.
